Nyangombe Safari-a touch with the wild in the wilderness

A Guided bush walk at Nyañgombe Safari Lodge is an unforgettable, exciting, adventurous and a fascinating experience. This is a superb, unspoilt and uncrowded safari,  with a vast and sprawling  ‘park’ with rich, diverse landscape with an assortment of game ranging from zebra, impala, bush and water bucks, eland, giraffes, leopards and other game coupled with a breathtaking vegetation of all shades and shapes in the midst of a variable geography.

There are all types of supervised and guided walking and driving safaris within the area. Local guides and organized safaris are available and can provide numerous ‘packages’ and expenditures  for all budget and interests. Nyañgombe Safari Lodge- is located 42 kilometers from Kwekwe city along Mvuma Road in the Midlands province in a pristine environment. The lodge is set within the 85 000 hectare Midlands Black Rhino Conservancy.

It is also home of totally grown up and protected Black Rhino and other plains game. Tracking the Black Rhino is  an adrenaline pumping experience in the wild. Most visitors prefer to come to Nyañgombe Safari Lodge  from Friday to Sunday, and game viewing is best in the mornings and evenings,when game can be sighted grazing.

“Most visitors come to experience the wild side of life in the wilderness. Game drives and guided bush walks are mostly effective in the morning or evening, where chances of coming across herds of Impalas, kudus and other game grazing. An animal in the wild is very much sensitive and alert in such a way that it needs minimum noise in order not to disturb the tranquility as most animals can be skittish  when they are in contact with humans” said Alfred Gambiza, a Field Guide at Nyañgombe Safari Lodge.

Nyañgombe Safari Lodge- has state of the art, comfortable and exclusive accommodation set in an extensive, well manicured lawns, next to sparkling swimming pool. The three modestly  furnished lodges are situated on the edge of Sebakwe river. Each chalet has its own lounge and fireplace. The original farmhouse has been refurbished, and turned into a chalet that accommodates four guests. The other chalets accommodate four and eight people respectively. The bar and restaurant provide drinks and delicious meals for visitors. Braii facilities are available upon request and experienced braii masters can also  provide their fire-braii techniques upon a call

The newly constructed Thatched  Pavilion is the ideal setting to a host of company product launch or for hosting workshops and seminars. The Camp can host a number of activities ranging from game drives, fishing, sport hunting, holidays, Rhino tracking, bird watching, swimming, honeymoon, camping and other adventurous outings and activities.
